We can make gluten free and dairy free cakes in any of our flavours, all you need to do is let us know when you place your order.
As far as we are concerned there is absolutely no difference in taste between our cakes made with normal flour and gluten free flour, in fact we’d go as far as to say, we bet you couldn’t tell which of our cakes were gluten free in a taste test.
Using gluten free flour to make cakes isn’t a bad idea. When you are making cupcakes nearly every recipe you see will tell you not to overmix the batter. This is because it starts to work the gluten in the flour and makes it stretchy like bread dough. Stretchy isn’t good for cupcakes and makes them hard when they are baked.
We understand how difficult if can be to have a food intolerance so we can make any of our cakes dairy free in any of our flavours, all you need to do is let us know when you place your order.
Our dairy free products are also vegan friendly.
We also don’t charge any premium for our free from cakes, we don’t think you should you pay more for a gluten free or a dairy free cake.
